TREATMENT TECHNIQUE
Once your treatment plan is created, Dr. Carreon will explain how many treatments will be necessary to achieve your aesthetic goals. During your sessions, you will lie down comfortably in our minor procedures area while the handheld device is applied to your desired treatment area. Emtone is noninvasive, nonsurgical, and safe, which means that you will not experience pain and will be able to return to your normal daily activities when your procedure is finished. During your treatment, as radiofrequency energy and applied pressure work together, fat cells will be reduced and your skin smoothed, addressing two of the causes of cellulite.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Most of our patients compare their Emtone treatment to a deep tissue massage. While your skin may be red where the applicator made contact with the treatment area, you will not need to rest or take any extra healing measures during your recovery. Many patients notice immediate results while some individuals note optimal results around two months post-procedure. Follow-up treatments are recommended in six-month intervals to protect and improve your results.
